Application:
In memory of the greatest conductor of all time, La Toscanini promotes talented young conductors with an International Conducting Competitionnamed after him. This 12th edition falls on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Arturo Toscanini Orchestra.
Upon registration, as requested in the procedure itself, the following documents must be sent:
• digital scan of passport;
• a recent full-length, high-resolution colour photo;
• a recent black and white photo in medium shot (half-length) with dimensions/resolution
15×19 cm/300dpi
• artistic curriculum and training path;
• two presentation letters from teachers or personalities from the music world;
• video recording, via a link to a web platform for sharing and viewing multimedia content
(YouTube, Vimeo, Youku) lasting at least 15 minutes, showing the Competitor conducting an orchestral formation;
• receipt of payment of the registration fee (see point 3.3)
Each Competitor will have to pay a registration fee of €150.00 via bank transfer, net of any charges and expenses, made to the bank account

The following must appear in the reason for the bank transfer:
• Name and surname of the Competitor;
• the lettering “Toscanini Competition 2025”;
• the Italian tax code (codice fiscale) of the Contestant, if he/she has one.
Awards
The Competition will award the following prizes:
• First Prize (Arturo Toscanini Prize) – € 20.000 and diploma of merit, in addition to conducting a symphonic concert within the program of the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini.
• Second Prize – € 10.000 and diploma of merit. •
Third prize – € 5.000 and diploma of merit.
Special prizes
• Special Orchestra Award – € 2.000 and diploma of merit, awarded by the Professors of the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini.
• Special Audience Award “Emanuela di Castelbarco” – €1.000 and diploma of merit.
