Each competitor must enclose the following documents with his/her application form:
a copy of his/her birth certificate or of any other official document showing date of birth
a short biography (in English or German)
one recent photography (preferably digital)
for the pre-selection a personally recorded audio file (no video, no DVD or similar) in mp3 format. The recording must not have been edited and must not be older than one year. (The works required for the preselection are listed in the repertoire regulations).

The decision of the anonymous preliminary jury on admission to the competition will be communicated no later than 1 March 2024 after the selection has been made. Decisions are final, no explanations will be given. The admitted candidates will receive a written confirmation. They will then transfer the participation fee of € 75.00 immediately and free of charge. This fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
