However, the term also has another, very tender meaning: it is related to important aspects of one&#8217;s past and the &#8220;little things&#8221; that we carry with us metaphorically that make us who we are today. It carries with it associations of nostalgia and intimacy, as well as a sense of focusing on ideas such as culture rather than concrete materialism.<\/p>\n<p>The whole idea is that it&#8217;s the small, unnoticeable things that matter most. We had to leave our homes and move to Denmark. When you move to another place or evacuate, you can&#8217;t take much with you, but it&#8217;s those things that tell the most eloquent story about you. We took pieces of our homes with us &#8211; the music and culture that are part of us and make us who we are.<\/p>\n<p>* * *<\/p>\n<p>MUSIC HUB is a space for young musicians and listeners, created by the VERE MUSIC FUND foundation.
