[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The master class will be held from September 9 in VERE MUSIC HUB (Kyiv, 21\/8 Malopidvalna str.). Classes are held without an audience, but students, teachers, and professional musicians are welcome to come and listen to their colleagues.<\/p>\n

Olga Kulchynska will have an open meeting with students of Ukrainian music academies and colleges at 6 pm.<\/p>\n

The list of active participants of the master class will be made public, and the schedule of classes will be sent to all registered participants 1-2 days before the master class.<\/p>\n

The master class is part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program.<\/p>\n

Selection of active participants based on videos. The video must be recorded after September 1, 2024. Applications can be sent by September 5, 2025, to academy@vere.fund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What should be in the application:

\n* Date of birth (day, month, year).
\n* Where you are studying (educational institution, city, country).
\n* Class\/course.
\n* Teacher(s).
\n* Mobile phone.
\n* E-mail.
\n* Facebook page \/ Plus professional Facebook page (if available).
\n* YouTube channel.
\n* The repertoire you would like to work on during the master class.
\n* Please add a few of your videos (YouTube links only) made after September 1, 2024. The videos do not necessarily have to illustrate the repertoire to be worked on at the master class \u2013 they can be any other piece.
\n* Please add your creative bio.<\/p>\n

The musicians who will take an active part in the master class, as well as the schedule of classes, will be chosen by the mentor. We will announce this information 2-3 days before the master class.<\/p>\n

Since winning the First Prize at the Francisco Vi\u00f1as Vocal Competition in Barcelona in 2015, Olga Kulchynska has quickly established herself as one of the leading lyric sopranos of her generation. She frequently performs at the world’s leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Opernhaus Z\u00fcrich, Bayerische Staatsoper, Op\u00e9ra National de Paris, and Gran Teatro del Liceu.<\/p>\n

In the 2025\/26 season, she will present a diverse range of roles at the most prestigious opera houses in Europe. These include the role of Fiordiligi in Mozart’s \u201cAll women do the same\u201d at the Staatsoper Hamburg, Marguerite in Gounod’s \u201cFaust\u201d, and Blanche in Poulenc’s \u201cDialogues of the Carmelites\u201d at the Wiener Staatsoper. In February, she is returning to the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich as Marguerite, after which she makes her debut as the Countess in a new production of \u201cThe Marriage of Figaro\u201d at the Dutch National Opera.<\/p>\n

Among the singers most recent major performances are her debut as Cleopatra in Handel’s opera \u201cJulius Caesar in Egypt\u201d at the 2025 Salzburg Festival, as well as her debut at London’s Royal Opera House in the roles of Micaela in the opera \u201cCarmen\u201d and Mimi in the opera \u201cLa Boh\u00e8me\u201d. At the Bayerische Staatsoper, Kulchynska made her debut in the roles of Fiordiligi in the opera \u201cAll women do the same\u201d and Ilia in \u201cIdomeneo\u201d and reprised her roles as Pamina in \u201cThe Magic Flute\u201d and Adina in \u201cThe Elixir of Love\u201d.<\/p>\n

Following her brilliant debut at the Metropolitan Opera as Musetta in \u201cLa Boh\u00e8me\u201d, the soprano has returned regularly to New York, most recently as Susanna in \u201cThe Marriage of Figaro\u201d and Liu in \u201cTurandot\u201d.<\/p>\n

Kulchynska has performed on other major stages, including the Arena di Verona, Op\u00e9ra de Lausanne, Op\u00e9ra National de Paris, Op\u00e9ra de Rouen, Opera Bastille in Paris, and Opera di Roma. She also took part in Marina Abramovi\u0107’s production of \u201cThe 7 Deaths of Maria Callas\u201d at the Royal Theater Carr\u00e9 in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

Olga Kulchynska studied theory at the Reinhold Gli\u00e8re Kyiv Institute of Music, then continued her studies as a singer at the Ukrainian National Academy of Music. In addition to winning the first place at the Vi\u00f1as Competition, Olga Kulchynska has won numerous international vocal competitions, including Pl\u00e1cido Domingo’s Operalia Competition and the Mykola Lysenko International Music Competition in Kyiv.<\/p>\n
