Sofiia Dubii (piano)<\/p>\n

Sofiia was born in 2002 in Kyiv, she began her professional music education at the age of five.<\/p>\n

From 2017 to 2021, she studied at the Kyiv Academy of Music (class of Professor Malvina Zarudyanska). In 2025, she earned her bachelor\u2019s degree at the National Music Academy of Ukraine (class of Professor Yurii Kot).<\/p>\n

In 2024, she also completed her bachelor\u2019s studies at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp in Belgium (class of Professor Sergei Edelmann). She is currently pursuing her master\u2019s degree and continues her concert activities, including participation in charity events in support of Ukraine. Since 2024, she has also been studying with Professor Viktor Makarov.<\/p>\n

Throughout her studies, Sofia gained recognition at numerous competitions, performing both as a soloist and chamber musician in Ukraine, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Spain, and Italy.<\/p>\n

She has collaborated with leading orchestras, including the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra (conductor Mykola Lysenko, 2016), the Boris Lyatoshynsky Classical Music Ensemble Orchestra (conductor Ihor Andriievskyi, 2018), the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra (under Gordan Nikoli\u0107, 2025), and the Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Wernigerode (conductor Christian Fitzner, 2024), as well as performing in various chamber ensembles.<\/p>\n

Sofia has taken part in masterclasses with distinguished pianists, among them Yakov Kasman (USA), J\u00f3zsef Balog (Hungary), Daniel Blumenthal (Belgium), Lily Dorfman (Israel), Jean-Bernard Pommier (France), and Andrzej Jasi\u0144ski (Poland).<\/p>\n

She is a laureate of numerous piano competitions, including the Volodymyr Horowitz International Young Pianists Competition (2016, Ukraine), the International Instrumental Competition of Yevhen Stankovych (2016, Ukraine), and the International Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz (2021, Poland).<\/p>\n

Her recent achievements include First Prizes at the International Feurich Competition (2023, Austria) and the International Siegfried Weishaupt Piano Competition (2023, Germany).<\/p>\n

In 2024, she received the Special Prize at the Brescia International Piano Competition (Italy), which led to the recording of her debut CD with Da Vinci Publishing.<\/p>\n
