Armenian composer Aram Hovhannisyan will offer an overview of the main trends in contemporary composition, as seen in the works of young authors from around the world. After that, he will move on to his own experience and talk about the important principles in his work, using the example of his work \u201cSynopsis.\u201d Excerpts from this piece will be performed during his talk by musicians from the 24 and Assonance ensembles, so all theoretical aspects will be illustrated with live performances.<\/p>\n

Aram Hovhannisyan is a composer, flutist, and artistic director of the Assonance contemporary music ensemble (Armenia). He received his compositional education at the Yerevan State Conservatory and the Haute \u00e9cole de musique de Gen\u00e8ve, where he studied with Nicolas Bolens and Michael Jarrell. His works have been performed around the world, including in Armenia, Austria, Georgia, Hungary, Switzerland, the United States, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

An artistic ecosystem and creative space designed for young musicians and listeners, established by the VERE MUSIC FUND. The hub features an upper hall with 100 seats, ideal for concerts, recordings, masterclasses, lectures, and more, as well as a lower rehearsal hall. It is located at 21\/8 Malopidvalna Street, Kyiv.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2017 by Tetiana Verevska, the VERE MUSIC FUND is a charitable organization that provides grants to Ukrainian musicians, enabling them to participate in international competitions and masterclasses.
