Campbell (violin)<br \/>\nPwyll ap Si\u00f4n (piano)<\/p>\n<p>Duologue is a blend of the words \u201cduet\u201d and \u201cdialogue.\u201d This format was created in 2025 by violinist and composer Jack M. Campbell and composer-pianist Pwyll ap Si\u00f4n. The two met in 2024 while researching the music of Gy\u00f6rgy Ligeti and Steve Reich at the Paul Sacher Stiftung in Basel, and developed Duologue to perform socially engaged and environmentally conscious contemporary music that explores simplicity and complexity, minimalism and maximalism.<\/p>\n<p>Project partners: Opera Aperta and \u00ab\u0406\u043d\u0448\u0430 \u043e\u0441\u0432\u0456\u0442\u0430\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"617\">* * *<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"617\">Jack M. Campbell (violin)<br \/>\nA Canadian composer, concert violinist, producer, and performer. He has appeared in numerous cities across North America and Europe, including in Canada (Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, the Gulf Islands), the United States (New York, the United Nations Summit of the Future), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin, Donaueschingen), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Poland (Pozna\u0144), and Switzerland (Basel).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"587\" data-end=\"617\">In 2024, he toured across England and Wales (London, Milton Keynes, Bradford, Wrexham, Ely, Swansea, Carlisle, Hereford, Durham, Chester, York, Brighton). His critically acclaimed album \u201cSounding Bombe; Enigmatic Music,\u201d produced by Neil Osborne, is set for release later this year. Other recordings featuring Campbell\u2019s violin include Planets (2025) with Hank Bull (piano), Arthur Bull (guitar), John Brennan (percussion), and Liam Murphy (saxophone); and Inventions (2024) with Hank Bull (piano).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1564\">* * *<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1564\">Pwyll ap Si\u00f4n (piano)<br \/>\nA Welsh composer, musicologist, and pianist. After completing music studies at Oxford University and Bangor University, he taught in Bangor from 1993 until his retirement in 2024. His music has been performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, bass-baritone Bryn Terfel, and soprano Elin Manahan Thomas. His work \u201cWhite Wheat\u201d (2008) for solo violin was commissioned for the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition and performed by Chad Hoopes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1564\">He has published extensively on various aspects of contemporary music, including minimalist and post-minimalist music, and his reviews have appeared in Gramophone, Strad, as well as on Bachtrack and Sequenza21.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">* * *<\/p>\n<p class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">VERE MUSIC HUB This is an artistic ecosystem \u2013 a space for young musicians and listeners created by the VERE MUSIC FUND. It consists of an upper hall with 100 seats for concerts, recordings, master classes, lectures, etc. and a lower rehearsal hall. The venue is located at 21\/8 Malopidvalna Street, Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\">VERE MUSIC FUND A charitable fund established in 2017 by Tetiana Verevska. The Fund provides grants to Ukrainian musicians to participate in international competitions and master classes, and implements festival projects and educational initiatives.
