PRE-SELECTION
Candidates will be shortlisted through blind-listening of submitted recordings. This process is audited independently, and the decision of the jury is final. The video dimension is used only to verify authenticity.
REPERTOIRE
All competition pieces must be played from memory (including pre-selection repertoire)—with the exception of sonatas with piano and the commissioned work.
Repeats are left to the choice of the candidates, with consideration for stylistic norms and programme duration.
Candidates must submit their repertoires by the date stipulated in the official invitation, after which, no changes may be made unless required by the Artistic Committee.
TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Each candidate will be provided with an airfare subsidy of SGD 500, and accommodation for as long as the candidate is still competing.
