General Information
· The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities
· All pieces must be performed from memory except for the four-hand class
· Repeats are at the discretion of the contestants
· In case of a tie, the jury may decide to divide a prize between the winners
· All decisions of the jury are final and cannot be appealed
· Contestants from outside Singapore may need visas. Applicants should consult the nearest Singaporean Embassy or Consulate
· Contestants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs

Preliminary (By video)
A video (Format MP4 or AVI) to be submitted with free repertoire, but must include one virtuosic etude. Total time limit 10 to 15 minutes.
Final
A free recital program of 40 to 45 minutes duration, which must include one substantial work by a major composer. Pieces presented in the preliminary video round are not allowed in the final round

First Prize: SGD 3,000 plus 10 concert engagements in China and Asia

Practice facilities
Contestants in the Concert Artist Class will be provided 3 hours of practice room per day, free of charge. Additional practice time will be available on request for a fee of approximately SGD 50-80 per hour.
Professional Class
· Contestants in the Professional Class must be enrolled in a pre-college program affiliated with a music conservatory or university music department to qualify
