Lithuanian international music competitions are organized by non-governmental public institution “Tarptautinių kultūros projektų centras” (“Centre for International Cultural Projects”) in cooperation with the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and with a strategic partnership with the Lithuanian National Radio and Television, as well as the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, and the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
These professional international music competitions are funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Council for Culture. List of disciplines of the competitions include violin, piano, organ, chamber music and classical (operatic) singing.
International Chamber Ensembles Competition will take place in Vilnius, March 20-28, 2026.
The competition is open to the following ensembles:
Duos: Violin and piano | Cello and piano;
Trios: Violin, cello, piano | Oboe, clarinet, piano | Flute, clarinet, piano;
Piano Quartets: Piano, violin, viola and cello;
Quintets: 2 violins, viola, cello, piano;
Age of participants: chamber ensembles whose age average of all members combined can not exceed 35 years.
A non-refundable application fee per chamber ensemble.
Prize fund – 32 500 Eur.
The deadline for the registration is 1 February, 2026, 23:59 (UTC +2).
International Stasys Vainiūnas Piano Competition will take place in Vilnius and Kaunas, March 20-28, 2026.
The competition is open for pianists born on 1 January 1996 and later.
A non-refundable application fee per applicant.
Prize fund: 32 500 Eur.
