The master class will be held from August 28 to August 30 in VERE MUSIC HUB (Kyiv, 21/8 Malopidvalna str.).
The master class is open to both violinists and chamber ensembles.
On Saturday, August 30, at 7 pm, there will be a final concert by the mentor and master class participants (selected by the mentor).
The list of participants will be made public, and the schedule of classes will be sent to all registered participants 2-3 days before the master class.
The master class is part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program.
Selection of active participants based on videos. The video must be recorded after August 1, 2024.

The musicians who will take an active part in the master class, as well as the schedule of classes, will be chosen by the teacher. We will announce this information 2-3 days before the master class.

Born in Lyon, Pablo Schatzman studied with Tibor Varga in Switzerland and then in the United States at the Manhattan School of Music with Pinchas Zukerman.
His recognized qualities as a chamber musician have led him in recent years to perform in France and around the world in prestigious venues and festivals such as the Philarmonie de Paris, the Concertgebow in Amsterdam, the Musée d’Orsay, the Opéra in Lille, the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, the Folles Journées in Nantes and in Japan.
Pablo Schatzman is a laureate of the Maurice Ravel Academy Prize, the Hewlett-Packard Foundation, the Lavoisier Scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition with the Raphaël Quartet.
In 2013 he founded the Trio Leos and has joined the Quatuor Élysée in 2022. He is also concertmaster of the Ensemble Musica Nigella and a member of the Ensemble Les Dissonances.
Since 2020, Pablo Schatzman has been artistic director of the Festival Éole en Musiques which takes place every summer in Paimboeuf.
His recordings of Ravel’s Tzigane, Chausson’s Concert, Beethoven’s Trios opus 1 and Bartok’s sonata for solo violin and quintet have received praise from the press.
Finally, Pablo Schatzman dedicates a significant part of his activity to pedagogy as professor at the Rueil-Malmaison National Conservatory and in Lille at the ESMD – l’École Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts-de-France – as through various master classes.
