✨ The violin master class of Pablo Schatzman, held within the framework of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program, will take place on August 28, 29, and 30 at VERE MUSIC HUB (Kyiv, Malopidvalna St. 21/8).

The master class is open both to violinists and chamber ensembles.

Pablo Schatzman was born in Lyon. He studied with Tibor Varga in Switzerland, and later at the Manhattan School of Music in the USA under Pinchas Zukerman.

As a chamber musician, he frequently performs in France and worldwide at prestigious concert halls and festivals in Europe, such as Philharmonie de Paris, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Musée d’Orsay in Paris, Opéra in Lille, Grand Théâtre in Bordeaux, Folles Journées in Nantes, as well as in Japan.

Pablo Schatzman is a laureate of the Maurice Ravel Academy Prize, the Hewlett-Packard Foundation Award, the Lavoisier Scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition as a member of the Raphaël Quartet.

In 2013, he founded Trio Leos, and in 2022 joined the Quatuor Élysée. He is also concertmaster of the ensemble Musica Nigella and a member of Les Dissonances.

Since 2020, Pablo Schatzman has been the artistic director of the Éole en Musiques Festival, held every summer in Paimbœuf (France).

His recordings of Ravel’s Tzigane, Chausson’s Violin Concerto, Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 1, and Bartók’s Violin Sonata and Quintet have received critical acclaim.

Pablo Schatzman devotes much of his time to teaching, as a professor at the Rueil-Malmaison National Conservatory and ESMD – l’École Supérieure Musique et Danse Hauts-de-France in Lille. He also gives numerous masterclasses in France and abroad.

VERE MUSIC HUB This is an artistic ecosystem – a space for young musicians and listeners created by the VERE MUSIC FUND. It consists of an upper hall with 100 seats for concerts, recordings, master classes, lectures, etc. and a lower rehearsal hall. The venue is located at 21/8 Malopidvalna Street, Kyiv.

VERE MUSIC FUND A charitable fund established in 2017 by Tetiana Verevska. The Fund provides grants to Ukrainian musicians to participate in international competitions and master classes, and implements festival projects and educational initiatives. It also supports international music competitions in Ukraine.
