Application:

Applications must be submitted online via the official website: seoulcompetition.com

Applicants are required to complete the online entry form and upload the following materials:

(A) A performance video file for the Preliminary Screening.

Format: MP4, AVI, MOV, or WMV.

If a work has multiple movements, each must be submitted as a separate video file.

The recording must be made after March 1, 2025.

(B) A recent, high-quality color photograph (front-facing, upper body).

Minimum resolution: 300 dpi.

This photo will be used for the official competition program and media.

(C) A PDF file of the applicant’s passport or official document showing name, nationality, and date of birth.

The preliminary screening will be based solely on the materials submitted.
Incomplete applications or videos submitted in the wrong format may result in disqualification.

Applicants must be born between December 1, 1994 and November 30, 2008.

First Round

1. N. Paganini : Any two Caprices of unaccompanied violin, Op.1

• A Caprice from preselection video may be repeated

2. J. S. Bach : Two movements from a Sonata or Partita for solo violin, except the Chaconne and Fuga (to be performed without repeats)

• In Bach’s Partita in B minor, Double belongs to the previous movement

3. One of the following violin-piano sonatas of W. A. Mozart (to be performed without repeats) :

Second Round
