Great event for us. And a great event for Ukraine. Kharkiv hosted the XIII International Volodymyr Krainev Competition for Young Pianists! Here are the results.
This is the oldest Ukrainian competition, which is a part of the most prestigious European Union of Music Competitions for Youth (EMCY). This year over 50 young musicians from 10 different countries participated in the Competition. And we are happy that in 2018 we became partners of this Competition and supported it with the grant.
The grant will be directed towards providing awards to the winners of the Competition who are Ukrainian citizens. In addition, for the first time in the history of our country, prizes will be received not only by young musicians, but also by their teachers.
So, who is going to receive their prizes thanks to the VERE MUSIC FUND grant?
Maria Klymenko (Chornomorsk, Odesa region) – the second prize in the nomination “Young Master”, senior group (the prize is divided between two participants).
Maria Kurguzova (Kharkiv) and Benito Zara (Chernivtsi) – second prize in the nomination “Young Master”, senior group (the prize is divided between two participants).
