Akim Kravchenko

Born in 2010 in Donetsk. In 2014, he moved with his family to Kyiv, where he began his studies at the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Music Lyceum (violin class of Tetiana Snizhna, chamber ensemble class of Maryna Kalinina).

Akim is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Prestissimo International Violin Online Competition (2020, Romania), the II International Music Competition BRAVO (2021, Turkey), the International Festival Golden Time Talent (2021, United Kingdom), and the 10th Yevhen Stankovych International Instrumental Competition (2023, Ukraine).

In 2023, he took part in the national television project “I Am a Virtuoso!” and performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Ukrainian Radio (conductor Volodymyr Sheiko). The violinist has also performed at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, as well as at VERE MUSIC HUB.

He has participated in masterclasses with Boris Garlitsky, Eckart Runge, Jacques Ammon, Remus Azoiței, Andrii Pavlov, Eva Rabchevska, Maksym Grynchenko, and Varvara Vasylieva.

In 2022, he was a participant of the VERE MUSIC FUND Summer School.

He is a participant of the NotaBene+ program in the 2024–2025 season.

Akim devotes particular attention to chamber music, collaborating with young Ukrainian pianists Savva Zolotarov and Daria Kryvushyna.
