Vladyslav Petryk

He began to study music in his hometown of Kryvyi Rih, at the Music School #4 and at the Kryvyi Rih Music College headed by Viktor Onufrienko. In 2019 he graduated from Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts  in the class of Professor Valery Altukhov. He is currently a graduate student at the Department of Interpretology and Music Analysis.

He participated in master classes by Philip Cooper, Pascal Morages, Roman Guillot, Julian Milkis, Calogero Palermo. While still in college, Vladyslav won many national music competitions.

He has performed solo and in orchestras in such cities as Dnipro, Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv (Ukraine), Liege, Namur, Ghent (Belgium), Graz (Austria), Bad Ragats, Maienfeld (Switzerland), Nuremberg, Berlin, Bonn (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic), Katowice (Poland).

He has performed as a soloist with the Kharkiv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Slobozhansky Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Student Kotory Symphony Orchestra of the Ivan Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv National University of Arts. He toured in Poland and Germany. He collaborated with such conductors as Allin Vlasenko, Dmytro Liss, Oksana Lyniv, Volodymyr Sirenko, Victoria Zhadko, Yuriy Yanko, Yuriy Nasushkin, Yuriy Yakovenko, Kyrylo Karabyts, and Teodor Kuchar.

In 2018, the musician became the concertmaster of the clarinet group in the youth symphony orchestra “Slobozhansky”. In 2019, Vladyslav became the conductor and artistic director of the symphony orchestra of the Kharkiv Specialized Secondary Music School.

Since 2018 he has been receiving grant support from VERE MUSIC FUND.
