The Master class will be held from June 26 in VERE MUSIC HUB (Kyiv, 21/8 Malopidvalna str.).
The list of participants will be made public, and the schedule of classes will be sent to all registered participants 2-3 days before the master class.
The master class is part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program.
Selection of active participants based on videos. The video must be recorded after June 1, 2024.

The musicians who will take an active part in the master class, as well as the schedule of classes, will be chosen by the teacher. We will announce this information 2-3 days before the master class.

Kateryna was born in Kyiv to a family of musicians. She started playing the piano at the age of 5. At the age of 14, she made her debut with Grieg’s Piano Concerto accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
She graduated from the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Music Lyceum (class of Nataliia Hridneva). From 2005 to 2011, she studied at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and simultaneously at the Ukrainian National Academy of Music. In 2012-13, she continued her artistic studies at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (Switzerland). She attended master classes by Michel Béroff, Abdel Rahman El Bacha, Pavel Gililov, and Vladimir Krainev. She received her master’s degree from the Mozarteum University of Salzburg (Austria) under the supervision of Professor Jacques Rouvier.
Kateryna has performed with symphony orchestras in Ukraine, Austria, Poland, France, Belgium, and China. She has performed numerous solo and chamber music programs in Austria, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Japan.
From 2015 to 2019, Kateryna was a guest artist at the National Opera of Ukraine, where she participated in the production of Nuit dans les jardins d’Espagne with music by Manuel de Falla. She has performed concertos for two pianos and orchestra, as well as piano duets with such renowned pianists as Jacques Rouvier, Simon Trpčeski, Ihor Chetuev, Andrii Yaroshynskyi, Dmitro Choni, and Vahan Mardirossian.
She has performed at numerous music festivals, including Vevey Spring Classics (Lausanne, Switzerland), Les concerts du Cloître (Nice, France), Les Nuits Pianistiques (Aix-en-Provence, France), Uzutrakio Vakarai (Vilnius, Lithuania), French Spring in Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine), Bruit qui Pense (Louveciennes, France), Festival Hommage Menuhin (Ville-d’Avray, France).
In October 2024, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. In February 2025, she gave a series of four concerts in Austria, including in Baden, performing Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and Orchestra with the Tonkünstler Orchestra at the Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt and two concerts in the Great Hall of the Vienna Musikverein.
In the 2024/2025 season, the pianist performed with the Bydgoszcz Symphony Orchestra (Poland), the Podlaska Philharmonia in Bialystok (Poland), and the Vilnius National String Quartet (Lithuania).
The musician teaches piano at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg (Austria).

It helps open Ukrainian performers’ access to best educational practices that used to cost them a lot of time, effort and money. But now it is possible to get to master classes of world-famous teachers and musicians without leaving Ukraine.

VERE MUSIC HUB is an artistic ecosystem and creative space designed for young musicians and listeners, established by the VERE MUSIC FUND. The hub features an upper hall with 100 seats, ideal for concerts, recordings, masterclasses, lectures, and more, as well as a lower rehearsal hall. It is located at 21/8 Malopidvalna Street, Kyiv.

Founded in 2017 by Tetiana Verevska, the VERE MUSIC FUND is a charitable organization that provides grants to Ukrainian musicians, enabling them to participate in international competitions and masterclasses. The Fund also organizes festival projects, educational initiatives, and supports international music competitions held in Ukraine.
