Master class of Julija Sadaunykaitė (piano), Lithuania

The master class will take place on 30 July at the VERE MUSIC HUB (Kyiv, 21/8 Malopidvalna str.). Classes are held without an audience, but students, teachers, and professional musicians are welcome to come and listen to their colleagues.

The master class is open to both soloists and chamber ensembles that include piano.

The list of active participants of the master class will be made public, and the schedule of classes will be sent to all registered participants 1-2 days before the master class.

The master class is held with the support of the Lithuanian Culture Institute.

The master class is part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program.

Selection of active participants based on videos. The video must be recorded after July 1, 2025. Applications can be sent by July 27, 2026, to academy@vere.fund.

* Please add a few of your videos (YouTube links only) made after July 1, 2025. The videos do not necessarily have to illustrate the repertoire to be worked on at the master class – they can be any other piece.
* Please add your creative bio.

The musicians who will take an active part in the master class, as well as the schedule of classes, will be chosen by the mentor. We will announce this information 1-2 days before the master class.

Lithuanian pianist Julija Sadaunykaite graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Vytautas Magnus University and completed an advanced postgraduate programme at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. She also completed an internship at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She is a laureate of various international piano competitions, including the Grand Prix of the Malta Valletta International Piano Competition.

Julija has performed solo and chamber music across Europe, Asia, and the United States, appearing at renowned venues including Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen and the Smetana Hall in Prague. Her recent concert journeys have brought her to the Philharmonic Halls of Kyiv and Lviv, alongside appearances at significant international music festivals such as Yamaha Piano in China, Cracow Music Summer in Poland, Olympus Musicus in the Czech Republic, FairPlay in Sweden, and Pažaislis, Kristupas Summer Festival, and Vilnius Chamber Music Festival in Lithuania.

She has participated in masterclasses and worked with distinguished artists including Stephen Kovacevich, Lilya Zilberstein, Steven Osborne, Jerome Lowenthal, Julian Martin, Christopher Elton, Roger Vignoles, Yura Lee, and Avedis Kouyoumdjian.

In 2025, Julija released her debut album Première on the prestigious Italian label Stradivarius, featuring works by Ravel, Messiaen, Schumann, and Vine.

She is an artist of BAMA Artist Management and a piano lecturer at the Music Academy of Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
