Born in 2011 in Kyiv. Savva started studying music at the age of 8. In 2020, he entered the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Music Lyceum (class of Maryna Kalinina), and six months later made his debut on the stage of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in the concert “Dedication to Chopin”.
In 2021, Savva took part in the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Volodymyr Horowitz (Ukraine). In 2022, he participated in the VI Manhattan International Music Competition (USA). In 2023, Savva won the First Prize in the C2 category at the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart International Competition (Austria). He was an invited participant of the ArtDialog festival (Switzerland).
The pianist studied at the Musica Mundi summer chamber music academy (2023, 2024, Belgium). He took part in master classes by Jacques Rouvier (France), Andreas Froehlich (Germany), Irena Kogan (Israel), as well as Polina Sasko (Ukraine-Austria) and Anfisa Bobylova (Ukraine-Austria) as part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY project.
In 2023, the young musician made his debut with the orchestra at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine (conducted by Serhii Solonko) and also took part in the national television project “I Am a Virtuoso!” and performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the National Radio of Ukraine (conductor Volodymyr Sheiko). In 2024, he performed as a soloist with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, performing Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto (conducted by Antonii Kedrovskyi).
Savva devotes a lot of time to chamber music, collaborating with young Ukrainian musicians such as Mykola Liubenko (cello), Oleksii Yaremenko (flute), and Akim Kravchenko (violin).
