Kseniia Nikolaieva was born in 1991 (Almaty, Kazakhstan). She started her music path at the age of 4 and her first steps were piano lessons. After graduating from a music school in piano, Kseniia had her first vocal lesson at the age of 14 at Kherson music school №1 (Ukraine). After graduating from music school, she entered to the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kiev, 2008).
In 2012 Kseniia has got a Bachelor’s degree with honors at the Ukrainian National Academy of Culture and Arts, specializing in designer and architect. During her studies, Kseniia made 3 personal exhibitions, one of which was in Venice, Italy. Now Kseniia continues to actively work on copyright projects in this area.
Kseniia has got a Bachelor’s degree with honors at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in 2014, Master’s degree with honors in 2015, and in 2018 she completed a probation assistantship in the class of Professor Aleksandr Diachenko and Nataliia Korolko.
She was invited to become a soloist of the Mariinsky theater Young Artists Program in St. Petersburg, Russia (2011). In the same year she had her debut on the Opera stage in the party of Marta “Iolanta” by Tchaikovsky and Hivria in Musorgskiy’s “Sorochinskaya yarmarka” in Opera Studio at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. This was followed by Olga in Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” (2014); Maddalena in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” (2016); Lubasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s “The Tsar’s Bride” (2017).
In 2015 Kseniia represented Ukraine at the Neue Stimmen singing competition (Gutersloh, Germany). In 2016 she was invited to participate in the Neue Stimmen master classes, where she worked with maestro Gustav Kuhn, Michelle Breed and Roberto Scandiuzzio.
In 2018 Kseniia became a finalist of the prestigious Eva Marton singing competition (Budapest).
In 2019 Kseniia received a special prize on the Tenor Vinas International Singing Contest (Barcelona, Spain). In the same year she was invited to participate in the Festival der jungle Stimmen International OpernWerkstatt (Switzerland), performances were shown in Sigriswil, Bern, Zurich, Basel and Baden-Baden.
In 2019-2020, Kseniia became part of the National Opera Studio (London, Great Britain), which collaborates with English National Opera, Opera North, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera and Royal Opera House. In 2020 she made her debut at the Welsh National Opera with the BBC Orchestra with scenes from “Sapho” Gounod (Sapho) and “Cendrillon” Massnet (Le Prince Charmant).
In 2019, The Opera Awards Foundation was invited to participate in master classes and a gala concert with maestro Richard Bonynge.
Kseniia received master classes with Montserrat Caballe, Elena Obraztsova, Eva Marton, Liudmyla Monastyrska, Olga Pasechnik, Irina Bogachova, Dmitry Vdovyn, Michelle Breed, Dolora Zajick, Roberto Scandiuzzio, Rupert Dussman, Della Jones, Nelly Miricioiu, Anita Rachvelishvili and many others.
Kseniia is holder of the National Scholarship of the President of Ukraine, grants from the charity foundation for the support of musicians VERE MUSIC FUND, an honorary scholarship from International OpernWerkstatt Festival 2019 and bursary from The Opera Awards Foundation 2019.
Since the 2020-2022 seasons, he is a member of the Jette Parker Young Artist Program in the Royal Opera House “Covent Garden”. In 2020, Kseniia made her debut at the Linbury Theater in the Royal Opera House in the Meet The Young Artists Week concert series.
In 2020 Kseniia was supposed to take part in Verdi’s “Falstaff” pasaning as Mrs.Quickly, as well as in the Royal Opera Choir Gala with arias from Bizet’s “Carmen” as Carmen conducted by Antonio Pappano and the ROH Orchestra at the Royal Opera House, but unfortunately, due to the current situation in the world with COVID-19, the planned events were canceled.
2021 Kseniia made her debut at the Main Stage of the Royal Opera House in the opera “Mahagonny” by Kurt Weill as Bessie.
