There is war in our country today. In spite of this, we are already thinking about tomorrow and doing all that we can to ensure that classical music in Ukraine has a future. On August 7th, we are opening an incredible chamber hall in Kyiv!
In fact, it is not just a hall, but a real ecosystem – a space for young musicians and listeners, which we have named the VERE MUSIC HUB. It is comprised of an upper hall with 100 seats, for concerts, recordings, master classes and lectures, as well as a lower rehearsal hall.
We hope that our HUB will become a real home for the musicians supported by the VERE MUSIC FUND. Its address is 21/8 Malopidvalna street, Kyiv.
✨ The first thing we plan to do in our new home is to hold a short summer school for those young musicians who continue their studies in Ukraine. The Summer School 2022 will take place from the 7th to 12th of August and will unite new generation musicians and a host of teachers who already have considerable experience in teaching and playing music on prestigious stages in Ukraine and in international projects: Roman Lopatynskyi and Stanislav Guminiuk (piano), Andrii Pavlov (violin), Oleksandr Svet (viola), Artem Poludennyi (cello).
Applications for participation in the Summer School 2022 which will be held as part of the VERE MUSIC ACADEMY program can be submitted until August 2 inclusive. All details are on our website: https://bit.ly/3uXGv0y.
🎶 The opening concert of VERE MUSIC HUB, which will take place on the 7th of August at 7 pm, will also be the opening of our Summer school. And each day of the Summer School 2022 will finish with a short concert. Teachers and members of the school, as well as special guests, will take part in these programs:
